How do I register as a venue?

Go to /register and create a venue account. You will need your venue name, city, and address. Once registered you can immediately start submitting events from your dashboard at /dashboard/submit.

How do I submit an event?

Log in and go to /dashboard/submit. Fill in your event details including title, category, date, time, and description. You can upload an event graphic (JPG or PNG, max 10MB). Choose your listing tier — Free, Early Bird ($8), or Featured ($20) — then submit. All events are reviewed before going live, usually within 24 hours.

What are the listing tiers and what do they cost?

Free ($0) — your event goes live 7 days before and appears date-sorted in the feed. Early Bird ($8) — your event goes live 14 days before and appears above free listings. Featured ($20) — your event goes live 30 days before, is pinned to the top of its category, and gets a featured badge for maximum visibility.

How do recurring events work?

If you have a weekly or biweekly event like a trivia night or karaoke, check the "This is a recurring event" box when submitting. This requires an Early Bird or Featured listing. When approved, we automatically generate all future occurrences — up to 8 weeks for Early Bird and 12 weeks for Featured — so you only need to submit once.

What is the venue profile page?

Every registered venue gets a free public profile page at findthefuntricities.com/venue/your-venue-name showing all your upcoming events, your address, phone, website, and description. This page is free for 3 months, then $60/year to keep active. You can renew from your dashboard at /dashboard/profile.

What is ftf.sh and how do shortlinks work?

ftf.sh is our shortlink domain. Your venue page is accessible at ftf.sh/v/your-venue-slug — a short, clean URL you can print on flyers, menus, table cards, and social media. When someone visits that link they are redirected to your full venue profile page. Individual events also get shortlinks at ftf.sh/e/event-slug.

How do sponsorships work?

Sponsorships put your venue at the top of a category page before visitors even see the event listings. Three packages are available: Sidebar ($40/mo) places your logo in the sidebar, Featured ($70/mo) pins you to the top of the category with your logo and tagline, and Exclusive ($125/mo) gives you a full "Brought to you by" banner across the entire category. Sponsorships are monthly subscriptions managed from your dashboard at /dashboard/sponsorships. A Site Wide sponsorship ($300/mo) is also available — contact us at craig@heateg.com.

How do I cancel a sponsorship?

Log in to your dashboard and go to /dashboard/sponsorships. Your active sponsorships are listed there. To cancel, contact us at craig@heateg.com and we will handle the cancellation promptly. You can also manage your subscription directly through the Stripe customer portal.

What are the billing and payment options?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Washington state sales tax is automatically calculated and added at checkout. Early Bird and Featured listings are one-time charges per event. Sponsorships are monthly recurring subscriptions. Venue profile renewal is a yearly charge of $60. All payments are processed securely — we never store your card details.

What events are not accepted?

We do not list local live band or concert performances. For those, please visit our friends at tricityvibe.com. All other event submissions are reviewed within 24 hours and approved or rejected with a notification email.
